2019 is the 13th annual National Button Accordion Festival. It is held at the Apollo Maennerchor Club on Dock St. in Sharon. This year we have players coming from ST.

2019 is the 13th annual National Button Accordion Festival. It is held at the Apollo Maennerchor Club on Dock St. in Sharon. This year we have players coming from ST. Louis, NC, VA, eastern PA, Alaska, CA, TX, Ohio, MD, and CA.
These people drive or fly to Pgh., rent a car, and stay for three of four days in Mercer County.
We have free polka dance lessons on Saturday of the event at the Club, 10:30 a.m. This is a family event. All kinds of accordions, all kinds of accordion music.
Sunday we have a Memorial Day Program starting at noon to recognize service members. It is followed by a short concert, then jamming and dancing the rest of the day.
I can provide photos, a p.r. article, fliers, provide an interview in person or on the phone. If nothing else, please list this event on your calendar. Perhaps Peggy Maczyk is already working with you.

Our “Spring Dust Off” 11th annual cruise is being held on June 1st at the Shenango Valley Lodge #810 at 7S. Neshannock Rd, Hermitage PA, which is at the corner of route 62 and Neshannock Rd. This is a free event where you can enjoy an exciting raffle with over 100 donated items, 50/50, and concession food is available. The doors open at 2 pm and drawings begin at 6 pm. All proceeds benefit Mercer County Youth Conservation Camp; a one week residential camp for youth ages 10-16 interested in the outdoors and related conservation practices.
